Cord McGee is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator. Since 2015, Cord’s practice has been primarily focused in the areas of business valuation and loss quantification. Prior to joining CHS, Cord worked at a Big 4 accounting firm where he audited publicly-traded companies in the financial services sector.
Cord’s experience includes the quantification of damages in complex commercial cases involving breach of contract, intellectual property, wrongful termination, and other financial disputes. He has also assisted in preparing business and securities valuations for the purpose of shareholder disputes and purchase offer assessments. Cord’s assignments have involved a wide array of industries including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, real estate development, long term care provision, manufacturing, and professional medical practice.
In addition to his professional experience, Cord is a member of the finance committee for Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth, a non-profit organization committed to helping homeless youth in Toronto lead productive, self-sufficient, and healthy lives.
