Biography
Greg McEvoy has practiced exclusively as a forensic accountant in boutique and major international accounting firms for over 25 years. Greg has extensive litigation support experience including analysis and calculation of damages and/or determinations of business value for matters such as breach of contract, patent infringement, personal injury, matrimonial matters, constructive dismissals and other commercial disputes. Greg has qualified as an expert witness.
Greg’s forensic and investigative experience includes involvement in investigations on behalf of numerous federal government departments and Crown Corporations and other public and private sector entities including fraud and contracting investigations, reviews of program spending, conflict of interest, kickbacks, allegations of suspected fraud and other inappropriate activity. Greg has worked on high profile public inquiries including the Sponsorship Inquiry by the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament in 2004 and assisting the Listeriosis Investigative Review in 2008.
Greg leads the Ottawa office of Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co.
